The conference is going to take place on the campus of HHU Düsseldorf (Universitätsstraße 1), in buildings 23.01 and 23.21. A campus plan can be found here. The campus is well-connected to public transport, the closest tram/bus stops are “Uni Ost/Botanischer Garten”, “Uni Mitte”, and “Uni Mensa”. If you come from the main station, the best option is to take U79 to Uni Ost/Botanischer Garten, which normally runs every 10-15 minutes. If you come by car (or cab): Parking lot P9 is very close to the conference venue.

About Düsseldorf

Düsseldorf is a vibrant city in the West of Germany, near the Dutch and Belgian borders, and the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia, the most populous state of Germany. It is located in the so-called Rhine-Ruhr metrpolitan area, one of the largest metropolitan areas in Europe with cities like Cologne, Bonn (the former capital of West Germany and seat of the German government until 1999), and Duisburg (the place where the very first ICLC took place in 1989) in close proximity. Düsseldorf has a beautiful historic downtown and modern areas such as the media harbor with its world-renowned extravagant architecture.
