Like many conference locations, Düsseldorf is very popular with tourists, so it is highly recommended to book early. We have made arrangements with three hotels in the vicinity of the campus. Note that in all three cases, the rooms have to be booked via email or telephone, while in the normal booking systems on the hotel websites, some of the hotels may already appear booked out.
Update: The special arrangements mentioned below have expired, and/or the hotels are fully booked. However, there are still accommodation options available. They can be found via Düsseldorf’s tourism page as well as on other booking sites (e.g. booking.com, hrs.de, airbnb.com etc.). As the campus is well-connected to public transport, most accommodation options in the inner city or the Old Town (e.g. near the main train station or around the area of Königsallee/Heinrich-Heine-Allee, all of which are areas with a dense public transport network) should be fine. Conditions: Single room 93,00 € / night incl. breakfast, Standard double room 117,00 € / night incl. breakfast, Comfort double room 148,00 € / night incl. breakfast.
